On May 30, 2011, I received a dream analysis request from a Japanese individual.
[Dream Content]
I had a dream where I was endlessly being chased and kept running away. What made it even more terrifying was that the thing chasing me had the appearance of a child.
The background of the dream was particularly striking, as it featured very old buildings. (Although there were moments when I was outside as well.
Psychological Interpretation and Purpose of Dream Analysis
The psychology behind a dream of being endlessly chased could reflect difficulties in schedule management, being overwhelmed by various mental pressures, or feeling trapped in a situation beyond one’s control. It may also indicate a state of exhaustion.
The old buildings in the background are noteworthy, but they don’t seem to be the core of the dream, so I’ll leave that out of the analysis. If I had to suggest, perhaps it was an expression of “being tired.”
For over 10 years, I’ve been analyzing dreams of Japanese individuals. While it’s important to consider cultural aspects of Japan, I am also curious about how culture and religion influence dreams from people in other countries. With that in mind, I’m collecting data while offering free dream analysis.
